ROUND 3 WIGTOWNSHIRE COUNTY

On a cold, wet, and blustery day at Wigtownshire County Golf Club 74 winter alliance, members braved the conditions to tackle the course. Scoring was tough in the conditions with more than a few members “losing the will to live” during the 18 holes.
With the course in fantastic condition there were some good performances with the results below.

Our thanks goes to Wigtownshire County Golf Club for hosting the event again and continuing their support to the winter alliance. Special thanks goes to Stuart Forsyth for setting up the competition on the clubs scoring system and for filling out the cards. Danny Agnew for taking over from me collecting the sweep money and handing out the cards and also for entering all the scores due to Internet issues and finishing off the competition results. Lastly, thank you to Robert and Kasia for providing the catering (not due to start till 1st of December). We wish you every success in your new venture.

Well done to all the sweep winners, and again, thank you to our members for your support. I’m off to hibernate from golf duties for 2 months. We hope you all have a good Christmas and New Year, and we will be back on the 21st of January at Southerness Golf Club to resume the Winter Alliance.
