The final Junior competition of the year will be held at Southerness Golf Club on Friday 27th October. The South of Scotland junior order of merits are all still to play for and this last event will decide the winners.

The under 18 section is very close between the top three players. Iain Rae (dbt) leads William Squires (kbt) by 10 points and Mitchell Cowie (D&C) by 15points. While the under 15 leader is Ciaran Howat (D&C) 60 points clear of Kaleb Johnston(Port) and 80points in front of Sam Mitchell (port). The Handicap category is still wide open with Charlie Maxwell(Crichton), Patrick Innes (kbt), Ollie Hogg (D&G) and Mitchell Cowie (D&C)all tied at the top. Ciaran Howat (D&C) and Rory Gordon ( D&C) are both only 10 points behind with a further nine players only 40 points back. In the girls section last years winner Ellie Harkness ( Loch) is 60 points clear of second placed Chloe Christie (Loch) and 70 points clear of Amy Mckie (D&C)
